Clean energy investment by sector Latin America

In 2019, foreign investment in clean energy in Latin American countries amounted to nearly 12 billion U.S. dollars, out of which more than five billion dollars were invested in solar energy projects. Wind power projects in the region received approximately 6.5 billion dollars worth of investment that year.
