The benefits paid out for group life insurances in Norway increased annually during the period from 2015 to 2019. The value of the benefits paid out was higher for deaths than for disabilities during the whole period. In 2019, the total amount of group life benefits paid out was around 3.8 billion Norwegian kroner, and of this amount around 2.7 billion was for deaths.
