Share of people who want to work less in Denmark 2019, by age group

15 percent of all employed Danes in 2019 stated wanting to reduce their weekly working hours. The desire to spend less time working was especially true for people between 35 and 44 years. Here, 19 percent expressed such a wish. By comparison, nine percent of the workforce between 65 and 74 years also stated wanting to work less.
