COVID-19 impact on hotels in Spain 2020
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the revenue per available room (RevPAR) of the Spanish hotel industry dropped by nearly 49 percent in 2020 versus the 2019 figures. Similarly, the occupancy rate in the European country declined by more than 40 percent in the year of the global health crisis.
