Economically active population in Algeria 2010-2019
In 2019, over 12.7 million people in Algeria were economically active. These included both employed and job-seeking individuals, as well as people participating in any economic activity. From 2010 onwards, the number of economically active people in Algeria increased year by year, except for a drop in 2014. In 2019, approximately 11.2 million individuals were employed in the country, meaning that the majority of the active population was part of the labor force.
