Italy was considered to be Europe's largest heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HAVC) market in 2018, although 2019 growth rates were highest in the United Kingdom. This based on various figures that look into HAVC across the continent. The source does not provide explanation, however, where the growth is exactly based on. One exception is Turkey - which saw its market size decrease by 25 percent in 2019 - as the country suffered from economic decline, a weaker Turkish lira, and higher energy prices.
