MENA number of air passenger departure data collection score by country 2018

According to a questionnaire on the status of the data collection of the transport industry in the Arab region, Tunisia scored 14 points in the data collection of the number of passengers of air transport departuresin the country between 2005 and 2018, which was the highest among the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The road network length in Egypt was the highest in the MENA region at about 188 thousand kilometers in 2018.

*The questionnaire was an assessment of the transport data in the Arab region. The first section measured the production, availability, continuity, and completeness of the data. The second section assessed transport related Sustainable Development Goals. The third section measured data availability and completeness according to transport modalities (road, road safety, railway transport, maritime transport, air transport and multimodal transport) for the years 2005-2018.
