In 2021, 35 percent of respondents state that uncertainty regarding time and costs involved in microservices adoption hinders them from using microservices. Other reasons involve the complexity of learning microservices, as well as lack of necessary security requirements. Overall, many of these reasons hint at a general lack of expertise concerning microservices.
