In 2021, 16 percent of respondents indicated that public cloud utilization has made their IT and security operations much more complex. Complexity was driven by the increased workload, as well as lack of skill or the need to acquire new skills. Additionally, 28 percent of respondents stated being unfamiliar with the shared responsibility model under which cloud security falls.
