Poland: annual change in the House Price Index 2022

In the observed period, the highest annual increase in residential property prices on Poland's primary market was recorded in the second quarter of 2022, where apartment prices increased by nearly 11 percent year-on-year. The highest growth on the secondary market was recorded in the second quarter of 2020 by 15.4 percent y/y. In the second quarter of 2022, the prices of residential properties increased by 12.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

Only market prices are considered, self-build dwellings are therefore excluded. The land component is included. The data are expressed as quarterly index (2015=100), annual rate of change and quarterly rate of change.
