Monthly wholesale electricity prices in Sweden 2019-2023

The average wholesale electricity price in Sweden stood at 80.66 euros per megawatt-hour in January 2023, a year-over-year decline of some 8.5 percent. Just one month earlier, wholesale electricity prices in the Nordic country reached a record high, having surpassed 234 euros per megawatt-hour.
