Quarterly gas storage volume in Austria 2011-2023
Austria's natural gas storage amounted to some 64.67 terawatts hour (TWh) in April 2023, accounting for 66.6 percent of its capacity. This figure represents a drastic increase in comparison to the same month the year prior, when the country's gas stock was 12.5 TWh. Every year, the quarterly gas reserves show minimum values in April, followed by a steady increase until October, when they register the highest annual figure.
