Export value of mercury worldwide in 2020, by country
Tajikistan is the world's leading exporter country of mercury. In 2020, the Central Asian country exported nearly 152 thousand kilograms of the metal, with a value of 4.48 million U.S. dollars. Ranking second was India, which exported approximately 2.3 million U.S. dollars of mercury. That same year, India was also the top second importing country of mercury worldwide, with an import value that amounted to 7.69 million U.S. dollars.
