Share of renewables in total primary energy supply in Africa 2019, by region
Renewable sources accounted for nearly 92 percent of the total primary energy supply in Central Africa as of 2019. The region had the highest share of renewables in primary energy supply on the continent. On the other hand, only roughly four percent of the total primary energy supply in Northern Africa originated in renewable technologies.
