Import value of insecticides worldwide in 2021, by country
Brazil is the world's leading importer country of insecticides. In 2021, the South American country imported over 146 thousand metric tons of the products, with a value of nearly 2.18 billion U.S. dollars. Ranking second, but by a wide margin, was India, which imported some 540.77 million U.S. dollars of insecticides. That year, India was the top exporting country of insecticides worldwide, with an export value that amounted to 1.89 billion U.S. dollars.
