Number of visits to recreation sites in Israel 2022, by district
In 2022, The Northern District in Israel recorded more than 2.7 million visits to recreational sites in its municipal area. This count was the highest among all the districts in the country, followed by the Central District (over 1.67 million visits) and the Southern District (over 1.8 million visits). In contrast, Haifa District registered the lowest number of visits, with 347.2 thousand stopovers at sites in the district.
