The most important reason for not considering marriage for both genders was to give priority to their education in Turkey in 2021. This rate was 29.8 percent for men and 29.3 percent for women. In addition, the other pressing reason for not considering marriage for over 22 percent of men was insufficient financial gain. Moreover, other important reasons for women were health problems with 11.5 percent and not having met a suitable person for marriage with 11.1 percent.
