In financial year 2022, a survey revealed that the leading areas for technological investment of Australian mining leaders over the next 12 months were data analytics and digital connectivity, with approximately 40 percent of respondents intending to invest in these areas. Investments in integrated automation and cybersecurity were also among the top technology investment areas.
