HRT prescription items dispensed in England 2023, by deprivation level

In England in the financial year 2022/23, around 3.1 million items of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) prescription items were dispensed in the least deprived quintile. On the other hand, over 1.2 million HRT items were dispensed in the most deprived quintile in England, suggesting their is a large disparity in those receiving medication for their menopause symptoms based on deprivation levels.
