The survey was conducted during Israel's thirty-sixth government, also known as the Lapid-Bennett government, hence the distinction between 'right wing coalition' and 'right wing opposition' political blocs.

In the survey the following statement was presented: "The removal of false and harmful information on social networks might harm the freedom of expression". Respondents were asked to give their opinion on a scale of 1-10, with 10 representing complete freedom of expression without any means of censorship or interference and 1 representing complete interference in the removal of false and harmful information.
