Main actions global shoppers took in response to rising prices 2023
When asked about the main strategies they used to face inflation, approximately 36 percent of global consumers said they were comparing prices either online or in-store before making a purchase. Additionally, the survey conducted between January and February 2023 revealed that another third of respondents were shopping at budget or cheaper stores in order to save money amid the cost-of-living crisis.
