Brazilian companies with highest market cap 2024
As of March 2024, Petrobras, a state-owned corporation in the petroleum industry, was the largest public company in Brazil, with a market capitalization of nearly 106 billion U.S. dollars. Itaú Unibanco, a financial services company headquartered in São Paulo, was second in the ranking, with a market cap of 66.5 billion U.S. dollars. Petrobras and Itaú Unibanco were followed in the ranking by Vale, a brazilian corporation engaged in metals and mining and one of the largest logistics operators in the country.
