Total freight volumes handled by Fraport at Frankfurt airport 2000-2022
Between 2000 and 2022, the Frankfurt-based cargo terminal operated by Fraport shipped a total of almost 44 million metric tons of freight. The largest figure was recorded in 2021, when a total of approximately 2.2 million units were handled. In contrast, the lowest figure recorded thus far was in 2001, when the Germany-based air solutions company recorded over 1.4 million metric tons of freight.
