Share of Jewish brides aged 20-24 years who are first-time marrieds 2005-2021
In 2021, there were 68.3 brides per 1,000 Jewish singles aged 20-24 years in Israel who married for the first time. This was a slight increase from the previous year. This could be explained by the government's actions in the country to combat the COVID-19 outbreak, which canceled mass events and weddings in 2020. From a base of 68.4 per thousand singles in 2005, the number of first-time brides in this age group positively fluctuated throughout the period under review with an overall minor decrease.
