Portugal: Liga Portugal's income and expenses 2024

In Portugal, the total income of Liga Portugal has increased during the period considered. In the 2013/2014 season, it amounted to 9.7 million euros and it is forecasted to more than double during the 2022/2023 season. Income from the operation of professional competitions is responsible for the greatest amount of the total income.
Expenses have increased especially from the 2021/2022 season onwards, when they changed from 15.8 million euros to 20.7 million euros.

Liga Portugal's sports seasons go from July to June of the following year. Before the 2022/2023 sports season, they went from July to May of the following year.
