In April 2022, the initial public offering DEWA (Dubai Electricity & Water Authority) at the Dubai Financial Market generated proceeds worth over six billion U.S. dollars. During the same year the initial public offering of ADNOC Gas (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company - Gas) at the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange generated proceeds of around 2.47 billion U.S. dollars.
