A December 2023 survey analyzed the main criteria for choosing a European holiday destination among long-haul travelers worldwide. While 51 percent of respondents in China mentioned the safety of a destination, around 39 percent of the sample in Australia said the same. Meanwhile, 45 percent of surveyed travelers in South Korea and 39 percent in Brazil said they would consider the high quality of tourism infrastructure.
