Inflation rate of tourism services in the UK 2023

In August 2023, the consumer price index (CPI) of passenger transport by air in the United Kingdom rose by 12 percent over the previous year. This was one of the sharpest price increases recorded among travel and tourism services in the UK that month. Meanwhile, the CPI of hotels, motels, inns, and similar accommodation services grew by 7.1 percent compared to August 2022.
