Online purchase of pharmaceutical products: main platforms Spain 2023

According to a survey carried out in Spain in 2023, online pharmacies were the most common platform of choice for respondents purchasing pharmaceutical products online, with 57 percent of online pharmaceutical users. General e-commerce platforms followed, with 23 percent of the total. Online drugstores were less popular, with 20 percent of users. Based on the same survey, the main reason for interviewees to purchase pharmaceutical products online among selected criteria was the prices.
