Medication use for discomfort in Argentina 2022, by reason
According to a survey carried out in Argentina in 2022, around 35 percent of respondents who use medication do so because of a medical issue such as hypertension. An additional 21 and 20 percent do so in relation to anxiety and as a sleep aid, respectively. Another 13 percent make use of medication for improving mood. As of that year, it was estimated that around 66 percent of 18 to 24 year olds worldwide were having moderate to severe symptoms of stress, depression, and anxiety.
