According to a survey conducted among senior business decision makers in restaurant services across Australia in September 2023, the leading way restaurateurs managed the impacts of rising costs on their restaurant's profitability was by increasing menu prices, with around 45 percent of respondents indicating doing so. Partnering with online food delivery services and changing their menu or substituting menu items were the next most prevalent methods restaurants used to manage increased costs.
