Nifty-50 ownership patterns in India 2023, by total market capitalization
As of December 2023, private Indian promoters had the highest share of Nifty-50 ownership in terms of total market capitalization in India, which accounted for more than 29 percent. In contrast, non-promoter corporates had the lowest share of Nifty-50 ownership, with 1.3 percent during the recorded period.
