Share of young people in England aged 17 to 19 years in 2017-23, by eating disorder
According to a survey conducted in England, a notable increase in the prevalence of eating disorder cases among 17- to 19-year-olds from 2017 to 2023 was reported. When comparing anorexia nervosa cases, the prevalence rose from 0.1 to 3.3 percent during this period. This statistic depicts the prevalence of selected eating disorders among young people aged 17 to 19 years in 2017 and 2023.
