Active certified naval officers at sea in the UK 2004-2018
This statistic shows the number of active deck and engine certified naval officers at sea from the United Kingdom (UK) between 2004 and 2018. The number of both certified deck naval officers and engine naval officers fell by around 1,000 between 2004 and 2014. While figures for those officers engaged on deck increased again in the following years, the number of engine naval officers declined further and reached 4,480 in 2018.
