England: waste collection for recycling 2023

The volume of local authority-collected waste sent for recycling or composting in England totaled some 10 million metric tons for the year ended 31 March, 2023. The volume of waste sent for recycling in England has increased considerably since the turn of the century, but has slowed down in recent years.
