LA recycled/composted waste in England 2000-2018

This statistic shows local authority collected recycled and composted waste volumes in England from 2000 to 2018. Waste volumes increased dramatically during the specified time period, from 3.45 million metric tons in 2000/2001 to 8.94 million metric tons in 2006/2007. This continued until a drop in 2012/2013, when waste volumes amounted to 10.58 million metric tons. Volumes peaked in 2016/2017 at 11.26 million metric tons.
