In 2022, approximately 802,900 people in Belgium were aged between 55 and 59, and roughly 99,400 people were aged between 90 and 94. The largest age group was formed by those between 55 and 59 years old, whereas those over 100 years old formed the smallest age group. In 2021, approximately 2,600 people in Belgium were 100 years or older.
