Statistics Belgium defines an unemployed person according to the criteria of the International Labour Organization. An employed person is a person aged 15 years or older who during the reference week was without a job, a person who was available for a job and started work within 2 weeks after the reference week, or a person who was actively looking for a job during the previous 4 weeks, including the reference week.
