Leading airports in Indian FY 2022, by international freight handled

Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi was ranked first, with more than 603 thousand metric tons of international freight handled in the fiscal year 2022. Mumbai which once had the top spot fell on the second spot with around 557 thousand metric tons. Year-over-year, there was an increase of 29 percent in the amount of international freight handled by Indian airports.
