Major hotel transactions that took place in 2021 worldwide were worth nearly 67 billion U.S. dollars in total, which represents an increase of more than 130 percent versus the previous year. In the past decade, 2015 was the year with the highest hotel investment worldwide, at over 90 billion U.S. dollars.
