North Central Airport Group's revenue by type 2020

The main source of revenues for the North Central Airport Group (OMA) is its aeronautical services. However, OMA's revenues from this type of service declined in 2020 by nearly half to around 2.9 billion Mexican pesos. Non-aeronautical services represented another 1.2 billion Mexican pesos in revenue for the Mexican airport operator that year.

Aeronautical services include " a fee for each departing passenger, aircraft landing fees based on the aircraft’s weight and arrival time, an aircraft parking fee, a fee for the transfer of passengers from the aircraft to the terminal building, a security charge for each departing passenger and other sources of revenues."

Non-aeronautical services include "revenues from commercial activities, such as, car parking charges, advertising, leasing of commercial space to tenants, food and beverage services, car rentals and retail; (ii) revenues from diversification activities, such as hotel services, revenues from OMA Carga and real estate services; and (iii) revenues from complementary activities, such as revenues from our checked baggage screening services, among other sources of revenues."
