Italy: internationalization of tourism in 2015, by region
This statistic displays the distribution of Italian and international tourists' overnight stays in Italy in 2015, by region. According to data, Veneto was the region which registered the highest share of international visitors among all the Italian regions (66.7 percent) and the lowest share of tourists coming from Italy (roughly 33 percent), whereas Molise was the region with the highest percentage of overnight stays booked by national visitors (90.4 percent).
