The average spending value during 2020 Carnival season in Salvador, Brazil amounted to nearly two thousand Brazilian reals per visitor, considering people coming from Brazil and abroad. This represents a strong decline in comparison to the figure of the previous year, when according to a survey, the average expenditure of tourists in the festivities surpassed the three thousand Brazilian reals.
