Carnival in Brazil: parade block attendance in Rio de Janeiro 2020

As of February 2020, attendance to street parade blocks during Carnival season amounted to almost one million in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. One of the most popular parade blocks was Bloco da Preta, which was estimated to gather approximately 320 thousand people. In addition, around 150 thousand people attended the street performance by Simpatia é Quase Amor, while other 110 thousand saw Chora Me Liga's parade.
