Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Norwegians made significantly fewer domestic trips in the first half of 2020. In the second quarter of 2020, Norwegians made 2.5 million short trips, 730 thousand longer trips, and 280 thousand business trips in their own country. By comparison, the most trips were recorded in the second quarter of 2018.
