Prevalence of long term health conditions 2018

This statistic displays the results of a survey asking individuals if they suffer from a long-standing condition, illness or health condition that has a detrimental effect on their life as of 2018, for various European countries. According to data provided by Ipsos, 57 percent of respondents in Russia are troubled by a long-term condition. Conversely in Italy only 22 percent of people are suffering from a long-standing condition.

** Due to lower levels of internet penetration in Russia and Turkey, the source believes that the results "should not be considered to be fully nationally representative, but instead to represent a more affluent, connected population, representing an important and emerging middle class."
