An establishment in the sports industry in this statistic is defined as a company of which more than ten percent of business areas are involved in sports facilities, sports goods, and sports services; with minimum one employee; and registered in South Korea as of December 31, 2021.

*the sample includes 5,613 companies related to sports facilities, 3,247 related to sports goods, and 3,256 related to sports services in South Korea.
