Share of out-of-pocket costs for patients of prescribed drugs in Sweden 2013-2018
The share of out-of-pocket costs for prescribed pharmaceuticals peaked in 2015, with 34 percent paid out-of-pocket. The lowest share during the observed period was in 2017, when it was down to 29 percent, but increased slightly again in 2018 up to 30 percent.
