Japan: taxi fleet distribution by operator 2017

This statistic displays the results of a survey on the distribution of the taxi and limousine fleet in Japan in 2017, sorted by operating company. According to a study published by McKinsey & Company, small taxi companies maintaining taxi fleets of two to ten vehicles accounted for the largest share of the national taxi fleet in Japan with around 75 percent. In contrast, the taxi fleet operated by the MK Group accounted for less than one percent of the domestic taxi fleet.
