Pharmacies promoting medication adherence for chronic disease patients in Italy 2021

A survey carried out in 2021 investigated the level of involvement of pharmacies in projects promoting medication adherence in chronic disease care. According to data, in the two years before the survey, 37.8 percent of pharmacies carried on these kinds of initiatives. Conversely, 62.2 percent of them were not involved in any kind of project promoting therapeutic compliance among patients suffering from chronic diseases.
