Number of licenses to physicians in Sweden 2013-2020, by gender
A higher number of physician licenses were granted to men than to women in Sweden during the whole period from 2013 to 2020. In 2020, around 41 thousand licenses were granted to male physicians, and around 32 thousand to female physicians.
